Great alternative to Whey for vegans. It tastes great, isn't chalky, and has everything you need to get swole af
I have tried all the flavours and the banana nut is my favourite, I would put the vanilla last, my taste preference.
It’s a good alternative to whey. Definitely helps my GI issues.
I love the chocolate! Best flavor to drink alone with water or if you like it thicker 50/50 with unsweetened almond milk. If you can't do dairy or whey, best plant protein out there with an affordable cost per serving. No sucralose and a bunch of added ingredients. Probably one of the cleanest protein powders I have found.
Bought this for a family member who is lactose-intollerant, and tried 5-6 servings. I used filtered water as well as lactose-free milk, mixed in a shaker cup and also mixed in a NutriBullet. The profile is great and the price is ok. The taste and texture are not good. In fact, I could not find a mixture that was good tasting or even bearable. I did not like this at all and will not buy it again.
It does the job. The flavor of vanilla bean was less to be desired. I had to use 1/2 a serving and it was still a little overpowering. The ingredients, however, are a good replacement if you are looking to go vegan/veg or have a mild allergy to animal based protein whey isolate like myself.
Regardless if stevia or sucrolose is being used, both sugars can be overpowering. So, to reduce too much sweetness, i use less than 1/2 of scoop & add in my unflavored protein powder to shake. That being said, the banana flavor was fantastic, tastes like real bananas, esp if you add actual bananas & strawberries to shake. The powder itself is a bit gritty, but that doesn't bother me b/c i add raw oatmeal & nuts to my shake nhow & like thick shakes, not watery.
I've been buying this protein for a while now as a great vegan protein. The chocolate was better than most wheys I've bought. However, recently took a protein powder break, and just recently bought two more tubs and I've noticed the flavor has changed, it tastes more... stevia-y? If that makes sense- tastes like there's more artificial sweetening, and it's a little hard to get down
This is definitely one of the better vegan proteins. I use vegan proteins as all whey proteins bother my stomach. This is easy on my stomach and has pretty good macros as well. Texture is very gritty, but it doesn't settle to the bottom like other vegan proteins. I've mixed with water and almond milks and the flavor stays the same, just much creamier with milks. My only gripe is the flavors. The vanilla is great, super rich vanilla bean flavor. However, the peanut chocolate tastes nothing like peanuts or chocolate. Won't be purchasing that flavor in the future.
For the second time, I am trying a protein powder again. This time though it's plant-based 'cause I transitioned vegan for 3 years now. I am happy to purchase this. As with any protein powders, texture needs a bit of adjustment but I'm really happy with this!
Within the past year I have switched to a mainly plant based diet and this included my proteins. I have tried a few and this continues to be my favorite! It mixes well and the taste works well paired with other ingredients you may add to your protein shake. It's also fantastic in that it is very low in fats and sugars and is straight forward in its ingredients. I will continue to use and recommend this product for plant based needs!
The flavor is very creamy and has a good mixing texture. Will continue to buy and will recommend to anyone looking for a good tasting plant protein.
Just received my order, today. I finished at the gym and made my first shake with this product. I added nothing and it tasted great, no gritty taste, and taste like vanilla bean. Great job, definitely I would recommend this. CS
I thoroughly enjoyed this protein. I have tried several different vegan/ dairy free proteins over the years and this is by far the best I have had. The ingredients list is short, simple and easy to understand. The protein level is similar to the levels found in whey, as is the serving size. When mixed with coconut/ almond milk, this protein is smoother and creamier than other vegan proteins and has a dessert like flavour profile. It tastes like I'm drinking a pudding cup rather than a protein shake. I would recommend this full heartedly (and have, much to the benefit and annoyance of my friends and family) to everyone and anyone looking for an alternative to dairy or soy, or looking for a protein they actually enjoy post workout.
A great plant based protein that taste perfect with just water. I have used the Vanilla Bean with Frozen Berries for a smoothie and I have used the Natural Chocolate for protein brownie deserts. Both were perfect in these applications.
